Climbing the Beau Rivage and changing up from 6th to 7th gear with the stick shifter of my Logitech G27. It is a steep climb up the hill and the car is using all its power to haul me up there as quick as it can. You are quite high up at the top of the hill but really have no concept of that because you can’t see over the armco barrier on your right hand side. The speedometer touching 269 kph again as I approach the left hand corner of Massenet. Entry to Massenet is quite tricky as it is a blind entry into the corner. Turn three is a fourth gear turn at about 153 kph if you get it right. Get it slightly wrong and it can all go terribly wrong through the next corner. I negotiate my way safely through Massenet and approach turn four called Casino. This takes you through a section of the track called casino square.
