Getting Serious About Photography Requires Serious Equipment

As soon as I decided to drop out of law school to pursue my love of photography, I knew that I needed to get a lot of new equipment. All of my stuff was outdated and I knew that no clients were going to take me seriously if I did not have the gadgets to prove that I was a pro. So, I went out and got a new Nikon D3100 camera, some extra lenses, a couple of lighting kits and a sturdy tripod.

I did not get any new backdrops because I decided to focus on location photography instead of studio shots. I spent a couple of weeks getting used to all of my new equipment before launching my new website and trying to get clients. Now that I am regularly booking shoots with local families, I can honestly say that I am glad I decided to go after my love of photography. This is also ideal for vacations etc.

Soca Singer Prevented from Singing at Miami Caribbean Carnival

Soca music is one of the most popular in the Caribbean and often featured at many Caribbean festivals and carnivals. In Miami this week, the Caribbean festival came to a disgruntled end when the headline singer, Alison Hinds, was prevented from performing due to what she has called disorganization and disrespect. Many, including Hinds herself were very disappointed last night and are still awaiting a response from the organisers to find out what exactly happened to prevent the performance. Soca is an incredibly lively, rhythmic style of music that many of Caribbean descent and many who simply have experienced holidays to the Caribbean cannot resist. It is exciting, inspiring even the most dance-shy person to move to the fantastic beats and feel moved to joy by the upbeat tunes. Light at the End

When I decided on becoming a hospital worker after an accident I experienced as a child where a hospital worker saved my life I knew it would be a tough road for me. Working in the hospital is something which is not an easy task and not everyone can do it but, I really wanted to succeed. I felt that I owed the person who saved my life in a way because they saved me and I wanted to save someone like I was saved. The road to this is pretty tough although especially when I was looking for housing for myself. I looked almost everywhere until one day I clicked on a button that said click here! On the internet which brought me to a great housing place which showed me exactly what I was looking for. I know the road for me is tough but, I am happy that there is a light at the end of this tunnel of my journey to working in a hospital.

Living Overseas and Renting

Because I travel so much I often get asked which is the best way to find accommodation while overseas. I have a friend who went to Croatia last week and said that instead of staying in a hotel he stayed in Croatia villas. He was searching in google for this and came across a website that had a large list of different villas in different cities. He was very interested because he normally stays in hotels and finds them to be to cramped and claustrophobic. So after he stayed in this villa for a few days he can’t stop telling me about how good it was. The free cleaning service and maid, the size of the rooms, the privacy and the price . So I am really considering looking at a villa when I am traveling next time. I usually stay in hotels but I think this may be a thing of the past.

As far as I am concerned the only way to truly enjoy a vacation is to stay at a bed and breakfast instead of the standard hotels. The standard hotels are never comfy enough. They always seem so impersonal and you feel like just another number. That is one of the major reasons when I was visiting Christchurch to find a bed and breakfast for my family. A Strange Way to Propose

Me and my husband met many years ago when we were both young children. Our parents were friends with each other although at the time we did not get along that great as we tended to get into arguments and fight with one another. Eventually our parents stopped hanging out with one another and we drifted apart. Years later we ended up in the same homeroom freshman year of high school and slowly began to talk again. We realized that we had more in common with one another then we had originally thought and started dating. We ended up dating steadily the next four years and ended up graduating from the same college as one another. I started to think about spending the rest of my life with her and considered proposing to her. I took her on a trip to take some Uganda Safaris and ended up proposing on one of the tours.
