Seeing if you qualify for a K1 fiancee visa can be difficult fraught with many questions much like the marriage visa. Here are the basic things that you need to meet. You have met your fiancee in person within the last two years. This is critical and it is hard to get around this. You have to actually have met in person. This is most typically proven by copies of your passport showing you were stamped as entering into her country. This is called primary evidence. You should also take pictures with both of you in it in her country. Try to get monuments, signs, or other things that are unique to her country. For example, if your fiancee is from Paris take a picture of the Eiffel Tower. If you fiancee does not have such a thing in her country go to the country’s United States Embassy and take a picture in front of the sign. This is usually very good proof. Also, have all your pictures date and time stamped. This shows that you were there when you were there. If you don’t have the pictures, don’t worry. They do help but you really need the passport stamps.
