THE DIBBLEVILLE DOLLS

The Dibbleville Dolls are a musical trio made up of Patti Nelson, Peggy Fulcher and Peggy Fowler, (2 pegs and a pat!)  The group was formed “just for fun” and these three friends enjoy each other on and off stage.  The “Dibbleville” part of their name comes from the old downtown “Dibbleville” section of Fenton, MI.  All three members call the Fenton area their home.  Working in front of audiences is not new to these three talented women.  All have spent much time working in educational settings when not practicing for a “gig.”

Patti Nelson (vocals, acoustic guitar, & drums) is a teacher of the Gifted and Talented at Grand Blanc EAST Middle School.  She is retired from the professional musical duo “Pat and Dusty Rhodes” that played the Flint/Detroit/Ann Arbor area for many years.  She has a Master’s degree in Gifted Education and an Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.  Hobbies include singing, horse-back-riding, jogging, golfing, and community theater.

Peggy Fulcher (vocals & percussion) is a retired Reading Recovery and Title I teacher from Hartland Schools.  She has Masters degrees in both counseling and reading and also has administrative certification.   Currently she is a part time substitute teacher.  Hobbies include singing, community theater, walking and fitness.

Peggy Fowler (vocals, recorder, acoustic guitar, mandolin and hammer dulcimer) is a retired Speech and Language Pathologist with Lake Fenton Schools.  She has a Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.  She enjoys singing, prospecting for minerals, sewing, drawing and writing.

These three friends present a fun and entertaining musical show.  The scope of their music includes country, Irish, traditional, Broadway, religious, fifties, folk and contemporary.  Their varied backgrounds, experiences with people and raw talent combine to form entertainment that is sure to warm the hearts of young and old alike.
